
Michelle Long is an Of Counsel Attorney at Red House Law PC and the founder and owner of Long Legal Services, LLC, specializing in Tribal law, Federal Indian Law, and Child Welfare Law. Her legal career has focused on serving Tribes in capacity as general counsel and litigation counsel, performing many short and long-term projects to assist Tribes in asserting and defending their sovereignty and assisting their governments to develop economically. Ms. Long also has extensive experience in the field of child welfare, having represented hundreds of children and families in dependency and neglect proceedings governed by the best interests of the child standard.
Ms. Long's practice has spanned a broad range of matters, from large commercial real estate transactions to litigating and winning jury trials. Her breadth of experience makes her well-equipped to serve the broad range of expertise required by Tribes, Tribal Governments, and their citizens.
Ms. Long earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado in 2020 and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the City University of New York in 2016.
